Privacy Policy

The short version

Your documents never leave your device. Every SwiftlyPDF tool — signing, merging, splitting, compressing, rotating, organizing, form filling, and image conversion — runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to, stored on, or readable by our servers, because there are no document servers.

What we don't collect

• Your PDFs, images, and their contents — these are processed locally and only ever exist on your device.
• Signatures you save — stored only in your own browser's local storage; clearing your browser data removes them.
• Names of your files, what you do with the tools, or the contents of filled forms.

What exists if you create an account

Accounts are optional. If you sign in (passwordless email link), we store with our database provider (Supabase):

• Your email address — to sign you in.
• Your plan (free or Pro) — so Pro follows you across devices.
• A daily usage counter (a single number) — to enforce the free tier fairly.

That's the entire database row. Deleting your account removes it.

Payments

Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch SwiftlyPDF. We receive only a confirmation that a subscription is active, tied to your account.

Advertising

Free-tier pages may show a small ad. If served by Google AdSense, Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to show ads and measure them, as described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out of personalized ads at Google Ads Settings. Pro removes ads entirely. Ads never have access to your documents — nothing does.

Analytics & cookies

SwiftlyPDF sets no tracking cookies of its own. Local storage is used only for app function: your plan, your daily usage counter, saved signatures, and your sign-in session. To understand which tools are useful, we count anonymous product events (for example, "a merge completed") with no identifiers attached — no user ID, no IP address, no session: a tally, not a profile. Page-level traffic is measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track individuals. We use Cloudflare to serve the site, which may process IP addresses transiently for security and delivery (Cloudflare's policy).

Your rights

You can use almost everything here without an account, in which case we hold no data about you at all. With an account, you may request access to or deletion of your (single-row) data at any time by emailing privacy@swiftlypdf.com.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date above will change and significant changes will be noted on this page.
