Common questions
Is a signature made this way legally binding?
In most jurisdictions (under the U.S. ESIGN Act and EU eIDAS regulation, for example), a drawn or typed electronic signature is valid for most everyday documents — contracts, leases, permission slips. Notarized or witnessed documents may have extra requirements.
Is it safe to sign sensitive documents here?
